Update September 19th 2013..... A DD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Wow! Could not have come at a better time. Thanks so much for the support, encouragement and exposure this will bring . I know it's not a prize, but I'm honoured and humbled. It's taken over 8 years, but good things come to those who wait right?

Hey all, it's been quite a while since I posted anything. We've had a bit of a tough time since winter and have been focusing on our two little ones and our family business so haven't had much time to post-process older shoots, do any new shoots etc.

The summer here in Estonia was also surprisingly good (up until a few days ago) unfortunately for our art and photography business that also meant focusing on the kids instead of shooting.

A couple of days ago though I grabbed the 'bull by the horns' so to speak and used an opportunity while we were all sitting in our sauna to finally get a long-time friend to come pose for us - admittedly there was a little pressure as she's moving to Australia next week. (for any Aussie photographers out there who see her shots and would like her to pose for you, just drop me a note)

It was a great first shoot and my wife (she'll be posting some on her profile as well soon) and I as well as Käts had a lot of fun shooting - we had a lot more ideas and it's a pity it'll be a while until we can shoot her again. Luckily we got a decent number of good shots some fun and some more artistic. We'll be posting them over the next little while, when we get the chance to post-process

A bit about me:

I've been a Deviant for over 8 years (under another moniker). Although I am still keeping the old profile out of historical and sentimental reasons, I won't be linking back there - as it is, every week I have about 40 new favs in my old gallery as well as a decent flow of new watchers, I am trying to migrate these appreciators of my work over here.

This new profile marks a new era in terms of my photography and direction and I think so far the response to my work has been fantastic. I feel I've progressed quite a bit since the early days and I've been shooting for a little over 20 years. I'm also getting a lot better with my post-processing work, always learning though and I still have a ways to go in certain aspects. There are of course shots that I'm still very proud of from the old days, anything that still meets my current requirements as being good enough will be moved here.

The response to this new profile, thanks in part to the way groups work nowadays, has been overwhelming.

Wow, such a selfless act - to know that someone appreciates my work so much to do such a thing is truly an honour. Thanks so much David. He's also quite a decent photographer in his own right, he doesn't have any nudes in his gallery but does however have some fantastic landscapes - please check them out!

I have received almost 8,500 page views as well. Pretty crazy.

All this and I only started posting under my new profile in June. Pretty blown away by the response. Thanks to all who have commented or faved my work! I will try my best to post new work regularly, repost some of my best older work and continue to improve as a photographer.

I've also sold two prints, already way ahead of my previous profile in such a short time. I still haven't received a DD in all my years here - not that it's super important, but I have been a Deviant for a long time and it would just kind of validate my work in some way.

The vast majority of my shoots, especially the recent ones, are done together with my wife, she also occasionally features in some of my work as well. We even manage to share the camera and work rather nicely together while shooting. We met here on DA about 7.5 years ago and she was responsible for me moving 7,000+ km from Toronto to Tallinn Estonia Love you babe - obviously !

Recently we have actually started doing photography and body-casting professionally, which is kind of cool. Making some money doing what you love is always a good thing in my books. Hopefully we can manage to convince a few of our clients here or there to post some of the work here - at least anonymously when they aren't comfortable with showing their face

First off Happy New Year 2013! - hope this year is more fruitful and creative than the last. Some interesting projects are cropping up sooo - one never can tell.

I've been a Deviant for almost 8 years (under another moniker). This new profile marks a new era in terms of my photography and direction and I think so far the response to my work has been fantastic. About 3,600 favs for 49 deviations is pretty impressive and I've sold two prints, already way ahead of my previous profile in such a short time. I didn't get that DD for Christmas as I had hoped, but thanks to all those who sent in a suggestion - not that it is super important, but I have been a Deviant for a long time and it would just kind of validate my work in some way.

Thanks in advance for all the favs and watches, I'll try to do my best to respond quickly to all comments, probably won't be able to thank for favs as much as I'd like, or thank personally for the watch but I'll try when I can.
